Otakon is thrilled to feature a special screening, in collaboration with Shout! Factory Films, of the crowd-funded award winning feature animated film, “In This Corner of the World”. In attendance as guests of Otakon will be producer, Masao Maruyama, and character designer, Hidenori Matsubara.

What's that you say? Tracks at Otakon? Yep!. With the transition to Washington D.C. we figured it was time for something new.
Featuring two days of concerts and events with some of Japan’s most popular acts, Anisong World Matsuri makes its east coast debut at Otakon this August. Concert passes will go on sale on Monday May 1st at Noon (EDT) for our Friday and Saturday concerts. We are pleased to offer standard and VIP seating for each show.
