The application process for Otakon 2018 will be beginning on Tuesday, December 5th at 7pm EST with our Unlimited Booth section. We will then open our Standard Table applications on Wednesday, December 6th at 7pm EST.

Led by Yoshiki (www.yoshiki.net), composer, classically-trained pianist, and rock drummer, X Japan has sold 30 million singles and albums combined and sold-out the 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome a record 18 times. In keeping with the theme of 50, the first fifty attendees to the screening will get a limited edition T-shirt specificaly designed for the 50th anniversary.

Would you like to learn how to wear the Kimono? Register for the Self Dressing Kimono Workshop at Otakon 2017. The workshop is being presented by Kuniko Kanawa, Shinto Priestess, Certified Kimono Consultant, and Otakon Guest.

The master bladesmiths from Baltimore Knife and Sword are returing to Otakon this year!
Matt Stagmer is the host of the hit web series MAN AT ARMS:REFORGED and the TV show MAN AT ARMS: The Art of War. Ilya Alekseyev is currently an Armourer working with Baltimore Knife and Sword as well as one of the product designers. Bill Collison is a contributing smith on both MAN AT ARMS series (TV & YouTube).
After Takanori Matsuoka joined PONY CANYON INC., he soon joined in the Japanese Anime Production Division, where he worked on many profitable projects of the company such as DEVIL SURVIVER 2 the ANIMATION and ROKKA as a Publicity Producer; and SHOW BY ROCK!, CLEAN FREAK! AOYAMA-KUN, and SANRIO BOYS as a Producer. Having experienced various anime projects in Japan, he is now interested in international co-production with oversea companies.
