What's that you say? Tracks at Otakon? Yep!. With the transition to Washington D.C. we figured it was time for something new.
Featuring two days of concerts and events with some of Japan’s most popular acts, Anisong World Matsuri makes its east coast debut at Otakon this August. Concert passes will go on sale on Monday May 1st at Noon (EDT) for our Friday and Saturday concerts. We are pleased to offer standard and VIP seating for each show.

Run by Super ANX, the Kpop Battles is a dance-cover event in which the biggest Kpop fans compete to recreate their favorite Kpop dances from their favorite songs. A staple event at Otakon Vegas, Otakon is excited to be able to host this event on the east coast.

The Anisong World Matsuri at Otakon 2017 in Washington, DC, August 11-13 will feature gothic metal band Yousei Teikoku. The announcement was made via video by T.M.Revolution on behalf of the organizers..
Known for their gothic lolita stylings and unique blend of heavy metal, classical, and techno, the group has more recently begun performing overseas; this will be their first visit to Otakon.
