Welcome to the Otakon Mecha Kaikan!

What is the Otakon Mecha Kaikan?  Kaikan in Japanese translates to “hall”, so simply put, the Mecha Kaikan is the Otakon Mecha Hall. The Otakon Mecha Kaikan will be an immersive and interactive mecha experience exclusive to Otakon. The Mecha Kaikan will feature mecha related panels, video and audio content integrated with free-range and expert led mecha modeling.

Catch all your favorite mecha related panels, videos and workshops in one location.  Have a kit to build?  Bring it along and build it in our build section while watching the action up on stage.  Want to just zone out and build?  Try out our new silent rave hardware and build your kit while listening to curated mecha related soundtracks and anisong.
