Otakon’s First Host Club

The swanky, entertainment experience makes its grand entrance with the debut of Otakon’s very own host club! Join our hosts and hostesses in the evening for a drink, conversation, and entertainment curated for your satisfaction.

Interested in ATTENDING?

The Otakon Host Club is an 18+ experience and will require following the appropriate Otakon protocol to attend.

This experience will offer the sales of alcoholic beverages that require proof of the minimum legal drinking age of 21 to purchase, possess, or consume.

Otakon Host Club will be open Friday and Saturday evening with tickets going on sale soon, so keep a lookout on this page!

Join the Host Club Team

We welcome you to join us in this new venture as a host, hostess, both, or volunteer for our Host Club. Applicants must be ready to engage in active conversation, aim to please, and be all-around personable individuals.

Volunteer Requirements

Please make sure you have read and agree to the following before volunteering for hours at the Host Club:

• Hosts must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the convention (August 7) to participate in this 18+ event
• Must have proof of the minimum legal drinking age of 21 to purchase, possess, or consume alcoholic beverages
• Must register for Otakon 2025 membership by May 1, 2025
• Must apply to be a Gofer by May 1, 2025
• Must be able to attend the rehearsal and performances during the convention weekend (August 7-10, 2025)
• Must have a regularly checked email address / Discord
• Must be able to be on your feet for up to 6 hours at a time
• Must be able to attend monthly meeting/training dates on Discord
• Must be comfortable conversing with strangers (if interested in a performer role)
