Concerts

Otakon has long been a pioneer in musical guests, and this year is no exception. Never content to rest on past achievements and easy options, we've continued to push the envelope with the broadest and most diverse selection of musical acts on the convention circuit. Our mission with concerts is to broaden your horizons!

As always, concerts are included with your Otakon Membership at no extra charge, however seating is first come, first served and not guaranteed. We are offering a limited number of VIP and Reserved Seating Passes.

Note the "On Sale" time for the pass you wish to purchase. At that time:

Click the Log In link at the top right of the page.
Log In using the email address that was used as the Billing Contact for your Otakon 2022 Membership.
Return to this page and click on the Purchase Pass button again. If it's after the "On Sale" time (and the passes are not sold out), you should now see the passes available for sale.
Add the items to your cart and complete the order process.

YOU MUST BE LOGGED INTO GROWTIX WITH A PRE-PURCHASED OTAKON MEMBERSHIP TO PURCHASE A SEATING OR VIP PASS!

Separate VIP Passes are available for each act, but all include Reserved Seating for the entire concert featuring all three performers.

Purchases are limited to 2 passes per concert and up to 6 passes per transaction. Please make sure you have selected the correct pass before you purchase. Details on the time and locations for passholders to line up for each concert will be posted below. You MUST have an Otakon Membership (Available Here) in order to attend the concert or any Meet and Greet sessions!

As VIP Passholder events span multiple days, you must have a Full Weekend Membership in order to purchase VIP Passes.

Reserved Seats may be purchased by anyone with a Full Weekend Membership or a Friday-Only Trial-Membership.

If you've completed all the steps above and it is after the "on sale" time listed for the pass and the item does not show up for sale, it is most likely sold out.

Your Friday Night Kpop experience will be emceed by none other than multimedia journalist and producer Lai Frances, whose work appears on CNET, MTV News, Teen Vogue, PopCrush, tmrw, and Glamour while being a host for KCON and NME.

VIP Pass - $25.00

Join J-rock band G.L.A.M.S for a VIP event experience! MIKARU and Yudai will start the event off with an exclusive acoustic performance, and then attendees can join them for a game. The winners will take home small prizes brought from Japan and curated by the members themselves. We'll wrap up the event with a special photo-op, in which each attendee can take one Polaroid photo (on standard sized i-Type film) with BOTH MIKARU and Yudai.

G.L.A.M.S - Live at Otakon

If a G.L.A.M.S concert could be summarized in 3 words: Cinematic Alternative Rock.

The music is like watching a different piece of cinema for each song. Abandon yourself to Mikaru's voice and music as we all merge into one body, mind and soul. But be prepared. After watching their show, you can't go back to what you used to be. You will be a witness to the new history of Japan.
