Otakon is excited to announce NOBUTOSHI CANNA is joining us this year!

Canna-san has voiced many of our favorite characters including: Basara Nekki from Macross 7, Cú Chulainn/Lancer in the Fateseries, Guts in Berserk, Kabuto in Naruto, and even Gengar and Knuckles! Otakon would like to thank Aoni Production for helping us bring out Canna-san!

Otakon is excited to welcome Eric Roth

Otakon is proud to announce Eric Roth. Eric is well known as an original and expressive musical personality, recognized internationally as an orchestrator/arranger, conductor, composer, producer and educator. Eric is the music director for the A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY concert production, conducting performances on multiple continents and arranging music for the ensemble.

Otakon is happy to welcome Arnie Roth

Otakon is excited to announce Grammy-winning Music Director Arnie Roth. Roth is well known in the world of video game music for his work with Nobuo Uematsu and Square Enix as Music Director and Conductor of the “Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY" concert.  We can't wait to share this amazing concert with our members!

It wouldn't be a Final Fantasy music event without having one of it's amazing composers! We are honored that Nobuo Uematsu is joining us this year for all of our musical festivities, and is excited to come back to Otakon after so many years! Keep a close eye for when we release our schedule so you can plan to see him!

Otakon welcomes animation artist, creator, & voice actor CHRIS NIOSI

In the anime world, his credits include the likes of Reigen Arataka (Mob Psycho 100), Dezel (Tales of Zestiria), Garma Zabi (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin), Lagos (Patema Inverted), as well as various characters in the Pokemon franchise and most recently, Pegasus/Helios in Viz Media's upcoming uncut dub of "Sailor Moon SuperS".

Otakon welcomes MATT STAGMER, ILYA ALEKSEYEV and BILL COLLISON from MAN AT ARMS!

The master bladesmiths from Baltimore Knife and Sword are returing to Otakon this year!

Matt Stagmer is the host of the hit web series MAN AT ARMS:REFORGED and the TV show MAN AT ARMS: The Art of War.  Ilya Alekseyev is currently an Armourer working with Baltimore Knife and Sword as well as one of the product designers.  Bill Collison is a contributing smith on both MAN AT ARMS series (TV & YouTube).

 

Otakon welcomes producer TAKANORI MATSUOKA!

After Takanori Matsuoka joined PONY CANYON INC., he soon joined in the Japanese Anime Production Division, where he worked on many profitable projects of the company such as DEVIL SURVIVER 2 the ANIMATION and ROKKA as a Publicity Producer; and SHOW BY ROCK!CLEAN FREAK! AOYAMA-KUN, and SANRIO BOYS as a Producer.  Having experienced various anime projects in Japan, he is now interested in international co-production with oversea companies.

Otakon welcomes producer TETSUYA KINOSHITA!

Tetsuya Kinoshita got his start serving as the production manager of the animation part in the film Kill Bill: Volume 1 and the animated television series Otogi Zoshi. Since then, he as worked as a producer on the animated television series ATTACK ON TITAN was a huge success, with season 2 currently airing in Japan).  Another one of his works, Yuki Yuna is a Hero, became a three-part feature film, with its latest film part 2 currently screening in Japan.  His latest work Welcome to the Ballroom began airing in July.
