Monitoring Novel Coronavirus concerns for Otakon 2020

Last Update: April 1, 2020

Our thoughts are with those affected by the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus and we want our members to know we are closely monitoring the situation as it continues to develop.  Events DC has closed and suspended operations at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center through April 27th.

At this time, Otakon 2020 is planned to go on as scheduled, July 31-August 2, 2020.

We are not taking this matter lightly and are monitoring daily updates from the CDC and the World Health Organization, and continue to work with Events DC, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and our hotel partners to provide a safe place for our attendees to enjoy everything we have to offer this year.

As mentioned in our registration terms, please keep in mind that our memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.  If changes to the event or our policies need to be made we will keep this page updated with any details.

We look forward to seeing you in July.
