Harumi Fuuki is a composer and pianist born in Osaka, Japan. She completed graduate school after graduating at the top of her class with a major in music composition from the Kunitachi College of Music. In 2013 she won the trophy for Best Music Score at the 36th Japan Academy Awards for her work on “Chronicle of My Mother.” She was also in charge of music for the NHK TV series “Massan” and “Segodon” as well as the movie “What Happened to Our Nest Egg?” Her other works include “And, the Baton Was Passed,” “The First Gentleman,” “The Deer King,” “Lonely Castle in the Mirror,” Shiki Theatre Company's original musical “The Boy and the Beast,” and NHK's TV serial "Soar!”.
