Maid Cafe at Otakon

Welcome to Otakon Maid Cafe!

Are you interested in performing or volunteering for our Maid Cafe this year? We are seeking out super friendly, outgoing, and dynamic individuals to join our talented and fun-loving team. Can you help us make this year’s Maid cafe a pleasant and unforgettable experience for all our guests and attendees at Otakon? If so, we encourage you to apply!

Volunteer Requirements: 

• Will register for Otakon 2025 membership by May 1, 2025
• Will sign up as Gofer by May 1, 2025.
• Will have reliable transportation and rooming arrangements to attend rehearsal and entire convention weekend (August 7-10, 2025)
• Must have a regularly checked email address/ discord 
• Must be 16 years of age or older by August 7, 2025 to attend and participate
• Must be in good health and able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to attend monthly meeting/training dates on discord
• Must be welcoming, work well with others, and enthusiastic
• Comfortable to converse with strangers (if interested in performing role)

If you’re interested in dance performances, please indicate that in your application as well! Must be near the DMV area to participate in dance practices.
