Gofer Pre-Registration

This information pertains to Otakon 2010

Due to the large number of Gofers required to help at Otakon 2010, Gofer Operations is opening Gofer pre-registration to everyone (for a limited time). Once you’re registration is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail from Gofer Ops. That being said, please be sure that your spam filters will not block messages from otakorp.org.

What this means:

• You are guaranteed a gofer slot
• You do not have to stand in line for Friday morning Gofer Call.
• You will be eligible to attend either Thursday evening Orientation.

What this does NOT mean:

You are NOT pre-registered for the con itself. You STILL need to make sure you’ve pre-registered for Otakon.

Not all submissions will be accepted. We need TOP-NOTCH people for Otakon Gofers. That means you present yourself well, put Otakon’s needs before your own when on duty, and carry a friendly, helpful attitude with everyone you deal with, members, staff and fellow gofers alike. In addition, you must meet all the requirements on this site.

There IS a time and number limit!

Gofer Pre-registration Deadline: July 3, 2010
Pre-registration limit: 175
(sorry, we have to give the Friday morning gofer call a chance too)

Don’t waste any time!!! Both the deadline and cut off will be reached before you know it. This opportunity ENDS when either time or number limit is reached.
