Otakon 2008: Guess Our First Musical Guest!

The forums have been abuzz with rumors and wild guesses about our first major musical guest announcement, and we've deliberately dropped a few hints. Now it's up to you to make the most of them.

We'll be announcing the name of our musical act at Tokyo Anime Festival 2008. The act in question will be making its US debut at Otakon 2008.

Last year, two winners managed to correctly guess the musical guest, and they walked away with a bunch of cool swag, as well as memories to last a lifetime. This year, it could be you!

The first registered member to correctly guess the name of our first 2008 musical guest (BEFORE the guest is announced) will receive a gift bag filled with swag, two reserved seats at the concert, and an express pass to get autographs. As well as anything else cool we can arrange for.

We're planning to announce the act during Tokyo Anime Festival, and it will be covered by the press -- and of course we'll announce it on our website as well. We're still working out the timing, but to be safe you'll want to have your guess submitted no later than midnight, Wednesday 26 March 2008. (We may extend the deadline slightly depending on the timing of the announcement.)

Winners will be announced shortly after we announce the musical act, once we've had a chance to verify the winning entry.

RULES:
* Only one entry per member. Multiple guesses (excluding accidental double-entries) may be disqualified at our discretion.
* You must be registered for Otakon 2008 to be eligible. (If you haven't pre-registered yet, do so!)
* All decisions of Otakon staff and Otakorp, Inc. regarding prizes and winners are final.
