The registration info below has been left up in case those who have registered have any questions.
All entries wishing to participate in the Masquerade must register via the Otakon website. There will be no at-convention registration of new entries.
Registration begins on July 10, 2013 at 9 pm Eastern Daylight Time and ends on July 28, 2013 at 9 pm Eastern Daylight Time or when all slots have been filled, whichever comes first.
Registration forms will be accepted only during the registration period above. Forms submitted before or after the registration period will not be accepted. For those waiting for the strike of 9 pm EDT, please note that we observe official U.S. time.
There will be a maximum of 35 skits performing at the Masquerade. These slots will be filled using the following method:
The first 25 entries registered for the Masquerade will be designated as "Reserved Entries." These entries will be reserved a performing slot at the Masquerade provided that they check-in during their designated check-in period at the convention.
The next 20 entries registered will be designated as "Overflow Entries." These entries are not reserved a performing slot at the Masquerade, but will have the remaining 10 performing slots and any additional unclaimed slots available to them on a first come, first serve basis at the convention.

We will only accept complete skits. Please complete the registration form, to the best of your ability, as if you will perform today. Forms found with incomplete information, including missing skit information and incomplete or missing cast member names, will not be accepted. We understand that you will probably want to fine tune your skit in the coming weeks, but due to the limited number of slots available, we must do what we can to prevent unnecessary placeholding.
Please do not ask or negotiate what you can and can't do regarding your skit in your registration form. Your registration information is used as a reference in the event itself and questions within your form will only clutter that information and hamper our efforts at the convention. In the event you do have any questions, please contact the Masquerade department directly.
Submit one form per entry, please. Multiple submissions only make it more difficult for Masquerade staff to sort through the dozens of registration forms, and in very rare instances may require us to reject that entire group of multiple submissions. If you wish to revise your skit, please follow the instructions in your confirmation e-mail that you will receive after your register and your skit is approved.
Please provide a WORKING e-mail address. We will send your confirmation information and further information regarding the Masquerade. If we cannot reach you, we cannot send you your confirmation information, and your registration form will be rejected and your slot will be given to another entry.
After you submit your registration form, an automated receipt will be e-mailed to the address listed as your designated contact. This e-mail simply states that your form has been received. It is not a confirmation of acceptance into the Masquerade.
Masquerade staff will review your form and contact your designated contact via e-mail regarding its status within 3-5 days of its receipt. If accepted, your designated contact will receive detailed information regarding check-in procedures and skit updates. Please remember that you must check in at the convention and participate in all necessary pre-show components to perform in the Masquerade.
