Unlike some events, Otakon makes Sunday count. Our Sunday concerts have traditionally been one of the highlights of the event for many people.

This year's Sunday show is no exception -- and it has been the subject of a lot of fan and industry speculation. (We've been working very hard behind the scenes to make this one happen!)

We will announce the Sunday musical act on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013.

If you've already pre-registered for Otakon, don't miss your chance to try to guess the identity of our Sunday musical act!

If you guess correctly, you could win a prize pack including front-of-line access to your guest's concert, panel, and autograph session, plus some swag! (Winners will be drawn randomly from all correct guesses by valid members.)

The rules:

• Your guess must be received by us by 11:59 PM, server time, on May 10th.
• You must be registered for Otakon 2013.
• You are limited to one guess per person.
• The contest is not open to Otakon staff or anyone else in a position to know.
• Lastly, all decisions of Otakon staff are final.

And now, those ever-so-precious clues.

Otakon's Sunday Musical Act:

• has been involved in TV, movies, and video games
• has been involved in at least one major anime franchise
• has performed under a pseudonym or alias
• comes from the Tōhoku region of Japan

We promised something amazing, so here's one last thing to tease you. When we make the big announcement, the words "world premiere" will be involved.
